Donna and I really want to thank you and all the staff at the Nautic Group for helping and guiding us through the boat buying process; it was a very pleasant experience. Right from the beginning we felt that you were there to help us and not simply sell us a boat. You were there on Sunday your day off to sign papers; you were there through the survey providing prompt support when needed especially with the starter motor issue. Even after purchasing the boat you continued to help answer questions and provide technical support while refitting the boat with a few items. All the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and supportive through the entire process that I cannot imagine how it would have been purchasing a boat elsewhere. I stayed in one of your slips for a month and met so many members who were also very supportive and encouraging that I really felt part of a family.

I have been associated with NauticShare since 2009 and have found it to be a very positive experience. The boats are always clean and well rigged, and everything is always where it is supposed to be. Keith and Kevin are easy to deal. Captain Daniel is excellent with new sailors as well as with those more experienced. The price is right — as best I can tell, my monthly cost is about the same as an eight-hour charter in a similar boat. I have always found that the boat is available more than I am available to sail. I don’t pump holding tanks or fill fuel tanks or fill water tanks, and I don’t coordinate maintenance or repairs. I just enjoy sailing.

About three weeks ago, I went to Nautic Yacht Sales in Kemah, Texas, to meet up with my new Hunter 49. She looked a lot different than when I first saw her in the factory. Being from a manufacturing background, quality and service have always been a top priority. After spending a little time on her, I quickly realized that you guys at Hunter Marine are doing it right. The fit and finishes are outstanding. It seemed the more I explored, the more I could see the quality workmanship.
Last week we took her out into the Gulf for a shake-down cruise. We sailed for six hours. With winds 19–22 knots, seas 6–8’ her performance was flawless. Again I was very impressed. Although my total sailing experience for the last 20 years totals about 18 hours, I’m finding I’m getting more comfortable, and I’m gaining confidence every time I go out on her. A lot of this comes from Kevin and the guys at Nautic Yacht Sales. I’m truly impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. They’ve taken the time to explain in great detail the systems on board, what they do, how they work, and why they’re there.
On the water, the trainer’s sailing experience shows. He has the ability to take the fear and stress of trying to sail a boat this size and make it into an enjoyable experience. He explains what he wants you to do, how to do it, and why it’s done this way, all while being asked a thousand questions. He is truly a professional.
And Chris in sales has put in many hours taking care of every detail from placing the order to delivery to setup. He’s been available 24/7 to answer my hundreds of questions and has never failed to address any issues. He is very professional at his job and is also a good friend.
Hunter Marine is very fortunate to have this great organization representing them. This group of guys with all their talent, experience, knowledge and professionalism, will only help strengthen the Hunter name. I’m sure they will only continue to impress you like they have me.

I joined NauticShare to sail without the hassle of ownership, maintenance, insurance, etc. costs and time commitments.

The reason I joined NauticShare is because I think it is a great value for someone who wants to own a boat, but for a lot of reasons the “time” is not right. I have chartered sailboats that were not anywhere near as nice and were much more expensive. The boats are super nice. Everyone that I have taken sailing has commented over and over how nice everything is. The way you have them set up they are very easy to sail. Makes for a very enjoyable time!

After looking at the program, it seemed to be a no-brainer and a win-win for everyone involved the member and boat owner. Actually, I am surprised that more people are not involved…
